MEET THE AUTHOR

~THE MAN BEHIND THE BRAND

Edmond Collins III is a long time citizen of New Orleans, LA and an alumnus of Warren Easton Fundamental Senior High School. In April 2008, Edmond went on his first trip to New York City with his senior class. This visit motivated him to move to New York City, in hopes to pursue a career in production.

Edmond obtained a Psychology degree from Stillman College in 2012, then worked with special needs children in New Orleans with his sister and now business partner, Tarnara D.Carr. In 2016, Edmond moved to New York City and acquired a Master's Degree from Relay Graduate School of Education. For over 10 years, Edmond focused on helping black and brown children with special needs succeed in school, especially in English Language Arts.

After a decade in New York, I had a sudden idea that would allow me to express my creative side and become a mogul. Beignet opened that portal to share my creativity and vision with the world.
